Silicon Valley air travelers will soon have a new airline to choose from when flying around the United States. On Thursday, San Jose Mineta International Airport officials announced that Spirit Airlines Inc. will begin operating nonstop service out of SJC beginning in June. The low-cost air carrier will start with twice-daily flights to Las Vegas and once-daily flights to Dallas and San Diego. Starting fares include one way flights between Las Vegas and San Jose at $39, San Diego and San Jose at $59, and Dallas and San Jose at $89.
