Updated: 4:29 PM PST Feb 1, 2023 A fatal accident occurred in San Jose early Wednesday morning after a man from Gilroy was struck from behind when traveling on Highway 101 north of Story Road.According to the California Highway Patrol at around 5:55 a.m. it was determined that a 39-year-old Hispanic male from Gilroy, driving a 2007 Toyota, was traveling approximately 65 mph, when his vehicle was struck from behind by Lazaro, 19, of Gilroy a driver of a 2017 Honda.
